Are You taking Care of Yourself?
I challenge all of you who said No to the above question to seriously consider looking at how you can make small changes that will fill your cup up a bit. It honestly doesn't take much! I have purposely included very inexpensive things to do to create balance and small pockets of happiness. It has nothing to do with the amount of money being spent. Now, that the fast and loose times of summer are over, autumn gives us an opportunity to change things in our lives that may not be working. If you are feeling haried at the fast pace of day to day life, I encourage you to see where you can say “No” to an event, task or obligation. For all those people pleasers out there, No IS a complete sentence. But, my favourite way to say no is “Sorry, that is not going to work for me ". Instead, use that time to do something that makes you happy and fulfilled. I know for certain that a) we were not put on this earth to just pay bills and b) On my death bed I will most definitely not care of the status of my To Do List. So, take that walk, have a fantastic coffee with a friend or just sit at home and do nothing!
