Winter means a lot less sunshine especially if you live north of the 49th parallel. Which means we are exposed to less sunshine and that isn’t great for the sunshine vitamin. Yep, poor Vitamin D is having a hard time being produced during the winter mons. It is important to supplement Vitamin D at this time of the year for our bone health and our teeth.

No one likes being sick, so let’s avoid the whole thing! Whether or not you get that cold, that is going around the office really depends on how strong your immunity is. The more stressed out, sleep deprived or malnourished you are will affect your immunity and your chances of getting sick.
We are well on our way into the New Year and hopefully all of the Christmas chocolates, cakes and goodies are gone. Now it’s time to get back to eating a healthy and well balanced diet. I find that this is a good time to do a winter cleanse.
I admit it, I enjoy Christmas and everything about it. The time away from the day to day, the lights, the Christmas carols, Christmas movies and of course the food. I eat pretty strictly normally but when Christmas rolls around, I am not.
